Quick list of end-user domain sales for this week over on domainnamewire.com.
CIRCA.COM went for $150,000, ACING.COM went for $10,000 to a Chinese gaming company called Acing :) , but my favourite has to be PFERDE.COM, which is German for horses, which was acquired for 45,000 EUROS.
Got me wondering if any subscribers invest in non-English names. I'd be really interested to hear your story - just get in touch :)
Elliot Silver gives his thoughts on brands and companies using multiple extensions.
As Elliot says, brand protection is important and these companies should buy the relevant extensions but it's how they are used that's up for discussion.

I like the DOT TECH extension and this post over on MARKETWIRED.COM gives a brief summary of who's using new TLDs. Big names including REUTERS and MICROSOFT are using DOT TECH in addition to their original DOT COMs.
